ACCP ByLaws Approved!

Following a vote of the membership, the proposed changes to the ACCP Constitution & ByLaws were approved!

Based on guidance of legal counsel, we were advised the current standard is to have Articles of Incorporation and ByLaws, but no Constitution. After careful consideration, the Board approved an initiative to combine the current Constitution & ByLaws into a single ByLaws document. The language from both documents was combined and extensively reviewed to ensure that the new ByLaws were internally consistent and reflected the content from the two original documents.

Following a special session of the Board of Regents, any final changes were incorporated. The proposed changes were put before the membership for discussion at the Annual Business Meeting on Tuesday, September 25^th at 12:00 PM during the 2018 ACCP Annual Meeting at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center.
