ACCP is Committed to CE Independence from Ineligible Companies

The American College of Clinical Pharmacology® (ACCP) is committed to ensuring that its educational activities are free of commercial bias. As such, ACCP has in place a series of policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of its educational program. ACCP abides by the regulations set forth by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) related to the ACCME standards for integrity and independence in accredited continuing education which includes the following:

  • Identification and mitigation of conflicts of interest, and disclosure of the presence or absence of relevant financial relationships of all individuals who control the content of the continuing education activity;
  • Appropriate management of commercial support (if applicable);
  • Maintenance of the separation of promotion from education (if applicable);
  • Promotion of improvements in healthcare and NOT proprietary interests of a commercial interest.
