At the American College of Clinical Pharmacology® (ACCP), we are carefully monitoring the progression and impact of COVID-19. We appreciate and support the collaborative effort being put forth by the scientific community to find solutions for this unprecedented global pandemic.

Having taken all factors into consideration, as of this time,
we plan to still hold the 2020 ACCP Annual Meeting, September 20th – 22nd in Bethesda, MD
and anticipate that we will launch registration on April 6th.

Careful consideration is being given to all possible outcomes for the meeting and the impact to everyone involved. We are focused on ensuring the health and wellbeing of ACCP Members, meeting Attendees and Staff and remain committed to providing the greater clinical pharmacology community with safe spaces in which to collaborate and network. We will continue to monitor the pandemic, follow the guidance of entities such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization and are prepared to take any necessary actions should the threat not be alleviated. Should mandates by a federal, state or local authority impose restrictions that make it impossible to host the meeting and provide the experience expected by our Attendees, ACCP will cancel the meeting and immediately notify Attendees, Faculty Speakers and others by email, through the ACCP365 App and on the ACCP1.org website.

If ACCP ultimately determines that it will cancel the meeting, Attendees will be fully reimbursed for any registration fees that have been paid. Please note that expenses outside of registration are not subject to reimbursement by ACCP.

ACCP values its Exhibitors & Sponsors and, in the event of cancellation, ACCP will contact Exhibitors & Sponsors and discuss the option of participation in future ACCP Annual Meetings or other alternatives that will reasonably satisfy the needs of the individual entity.

We acknowledge that policies are evolving rapidly in response to the pandemic. If an individual who has registered for the ACCP Annual Meeting is unable to attend because of an action beyond their control, such as border closure or an employer’s ban on travel, ACCP will reimburse their registration fee.

Please refer to the ACCP1.org website or the ACCP365 App for updates.

Sincerely,
