Membership in ACCP offers the support and professional development at every level of your career. For the past 50 years, ACCP has been and will continue to be a welcoming and inclusive organization focused on its Members, offering a vibrant professional community where you can build professional relationships that last a lifetime.
As a Member-focused/Member-driven organization, ACCP consistently strives to exceed the expectations of its Members by providing ways to stay on top of your professional game, help you build professional relationships that last a lifetime and provide you with a vibrant professional community with similar goals and objectives that gives you opportunities to shape the future of clinical pharmacology. ACCP maintains high financial standards and strives to maintain a reasonable cost of membership and Annual Meeting registration year-over-year, effectively serving the clinical pharmacology community by making it economical to become a Member and attend the meeting.
Opportunities to engage with the society and enhance your own career start with membership and attending the ACCP Annual Meeting at discounted rates offered to Members. For those looking to achieve CME & CPE credits, ACCP offers continuing education programs accredited by both the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. Equally as important is the chance for Members to develop and propose continuing education activities for the ACCP Annual Meeting or one of the webinars in the series ACCP hosts year round. Developing a Proposal and/or serving as a Faculty Speaker is critical in the growth of your career and garners the respect of colleagues. ACCP’s program of online educational events provides you with the opportunity to present in a Live webinar, plus it provides 24/7 access to your materials as On Demand events for three years after the Live event. Articles from The Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, ACCP’s flagship journal, are made into text-based CE events.
Members are encouraged to volunteer to participate in committees and contribute in ways that are beneficial to the global clinical pharmacology community. Let your voice be heard as a committee member and make a difference! A vibrant Mentoring Program allows you to receive guidance to further your career or to share your own experiences and provide guidance to junior colleagues transitioning into full-time professionals.
ACCP provides numerous ways to build your professional network, either meeting live during events at the Annual Meeting, by working collaboratively with colleagues on a committee, as a Faculty Speaker or Poster presenter or by connecting with colleagues virtually through the ACCP365 app via the direct connect option.
The Board of Regents, ACCP’s governing body, is elected by the membership and diligently serves the membership in meeting organizational goals.
In 2019, ACCP introduced the ACCP365 Mobile App, providing ease of access to all things ACCP any place, any time. Through the ACCP365 Mobile App, Members can connect directly with each other, watch On Demand educational webinars, view relevant ACCP Annual Meeting information, access the JCP and CPDD journals, pay membership dues and so much more! ACCP is proud to be the first clinical pharmacology society to offer this extensive app-based access!
