The ACCP Journals

The American College of Clinical Pharmacology® proudly publishes The Journal of Clinical Pharmacology (JCP) and Clinical Pharmacology in Drug Development (CPDD).

The JCP, published for more than 50 years and issued monthly, is widely recognized for exceptional, peer-reviewed articles that span the breadth of research and drug development to clinical care and include original research, educational series and editorials. Themed supplements, virtual issues and Chinese digest versions of the JCP are in demand to meet the needs of specific audiences. Each month, an article is selected to be offered for CME/CPE credits through the ACCP Learning Management System.

The CPDD is an international, peer-reviewed journal focused on publishing high-quality clinical pharmacology studies in drug development which are primarily (but not exclusively) performed in early development phases in healthy subjects. Acceptance of a manuscript in the CPDD will be determined by scientific rigor and technical soundness rather than perceived importance of the presented results. Thus, negative study results are explicitly not an obstacle for positive acceptance decisions. Only original research papers can be submitted in unsolicited form to the CPDD. Editorials and reviews are considered by invitation only. The CPDD has received acclaim since its launch and now boasts an influential international Editorial Board. The number of issues per year is regularly increasing to address a growing rate of submissions.

Both journals boast a rapid turn around and some of the fastest editorial decisions in the publishing community.
