ACCP "New Member Recognition"

The ACCP "New Member Recognition" Program highlights New Members that have exceptional engagement with ACCP within their first nine months of joining.

ACCP is pleased to recognize Zaid Temrikar, MS, PhD Candidate at the Univ of Tennessee Health Science Ctr Coll of Pharmacy, Memphis, Tennessee in the inaugural ACCP "New Member Recognition" Program. He received his BPharm from the Univ of Mumbai and his Masters in Pharmacology from the Univ of Minnesota, Medical School in 2017. Zaid joined ACCP as a Student Member in 2020 and has been actively engaged ever since. He is currently a member of the Student, Trainee & Early-stage Professional Committee and was accepted into the ACCP Leadership Development Program.

Zaid shared his thoughts on what ACCP membership means to him:

“I have been a Member at ACCP for a relatively short period of time. Yet, it has in many ways resonated to my needs as a young professional. There is a pool of Mentors who are extremely accomplished ready to mentor you and answer your basic queries. This sense of approachability gave me the confidence to be a part of the STEP Committee and apply to participate in the 2021 ACCP Leadership Development Program. Since then I have had the fortune of interacting with people each of whom have a unique way of thinking and this has contributed to my personal growth. Lastly, ACCP events like the ACCP Virtual Journal Club, webinars and symposia are all excellent learning opportunities. Importantly, they advertise them through multiple social media platforms which is very helpful for a millennial like me! Last but not least my interactions with Krista Levy, always a joy.”

Congratulations, Mr. Temrikar, on being recognized for your contributions to ACCP as a new Member! We look forward to your continued support.
