2014 ACCP Annual Meeting
The 2014 ACCP Annual Meeting was another resounding success! Meeting evaluation results indicated that the educational events offered at the meeting made an impact. With 87% saying the content would enhance their work and 85% indicating the content would improve patient outcomes, learners left the classroom with the knowledge and tools they need to enhance their professional performance.
We would like to acknowledge the efforts of the 2014 Program Committee, co-chaired by Drs. Ayyappa Chaturvedula and Walter Kraft, in developing the scientific program, plus the Education Committee and Compliance Subcommittee in ensuring the highest quality of content. We would also like to thank our speakers for providing valuable learning materials.
Keynote Speakers Richard Wender, MD, and Deborah Dowell, MD, MPH, LCDR, USPHS helped us to understand the future of cancer on a global scale and the CDC's perspective on preventing prescription drug overdoses. Congratulations to the 2014 ACCP Recognition Award winners and Student Abstract Award winners!
